The correct sentence is “I accept that there was a monkey“. Their and there is one of the most commonly misused homonym (In linguistics, a homonym is one of a group of words that share the same spelling and the same pronunciation but have different meanings). The word Corps is actually a homonym of the word “core”. The P and the S are silent. I just thought I’d let you know, so you can fix it.
